Formulation
Phenylbutazone 200 mg, excipients c.s.p. 1mL
Indications
In traumatic and inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions of non-infectious origin:
rheumatic arthritis, tendonitis, myositis, synovitis, bursitis, periostitis, strains,
dislocations, sprains, muscle injuries, laminitis, fractures, bruises, disease
navicular etc. In cases of muscular exertion, enzootic pneumonia, mastitis, ketosis and
when necessary an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect.
Dosage and Administration
Horses: 2.5 – 4 mL/100 kg on day 1, then 1 – 2 mL/100 kg (for 6 – 8 days); cattle,
pigs, sheep, goats and camelids: 5 – 10 mL/100 kg on day 1, then 1.25 – 2.5 mL/100 kg;
dogs: 1 mL/10 kg/day, 2 – 3 times/-day; puppies: 0.1 – 0.3 mL/kg; cats: 0.3 mL/animal.
Apply deep intramuscular or intravenous route.
