Description:

BAYTRIL 5% is an antibiotic with a broad spectrum of action.

Enrofloxacin 50mg
Excipients csp 1 ml
ACTION: Bactericidal antibiotic

INDICATIONS: In cattle, sheep and goats:

Respiratory infections: Bronchitis, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, pneumonia complex, enzootic pneumonia, pneumoenteritis or foolish plague, hemorrhagic septicemia or shipping fever, mycoplasmosis (Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella spp, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pasteurella haemolytica, Mycoplasma bovis).
Digestive system infections: Infectious diarrhea, neonatal diarrhea in calves, colibacillary diarrhea, colibacillary enterotoxemia, colisepticemia, salmonellosis (Escherichia coli, Proteus spp., Clostridium perfringens, Salmonella spp, Streptococcus spp.).
Infections of the genitourinary system: Nephritis, pyelitis, pyelonephritis, endometritis, vaginitis, pyometra (Corynebacterium pyogenes, Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, E. coli, Proteus spp, Pseudomonas spp.)
Skin and soft tissue infections: Navel infections, infected wounds, dermatitis, abscesses (Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, Proteus spp, E. coli, Pseudomonas spp.)
Septicemic infections by: Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Haemophilus spp.
Secondary bacterial infections: viral diseases caused by germs sensitive to Baytril.

In Pigs:
Respiratory system infections: Infectious pleuropneumonia (Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae), Enzootic pneumonia (Mycoplasma spp.), Atrophic rhinitis (Pasteurella multocida), Pneumonic complex, atrophic rhinitis (Bordetella spp, Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, Corynebacterium spp).
Digestive system infections: Colibacillosis, colisepticemia (E. coli), enteric and septicemic salmonellosis (Salmonella spp.)
Infections of the genitourinary system: kidney infections, metritis-mastitis-agalactia syndrome (E. coli).
Septicemic infections: due to E. coli, Salmonella spp, Erysipelothryx rhusiopatiae, Staphylococcus spp.
Skin infections: Moist eczema (Staphylococcus hycus), others.
Bacterial infections secondary to viral diseases caused by germs sensitive to Baytril.

In dogs and cats:
Digestive tract infections: (E. coli, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp.)
Infections of the respiratory organs: (Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., Klebsiella spp.)
Urogenital tract infections: Nephritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis, (E. coli, Corynebacterium pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp.)
Skin infections, infected wounds, dermatitis (E. coli, Klebsiella spp, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp).
DOSE: It is applied intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously in cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs, dogs and cats. Do not apply a dose greater than 10 ml x subcutaneously or intramuscularly in the same place.
Cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas
5 ml per 100 kg of weight, subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous, every 24 hours for 3 days.
In severe respiratory diseases, double the dose and carry out for 5 days.
In Salmonellosis, every 24 hours for 5 days.
Cattle 10 ml per 100 ml of distilled water or physiological saline solution, every 24 hours for 3 days.
Pigs: 1 ml for every 10 kg of weight, intramuscular, in the anterior neck musculature, every 24 hours x 3 days. Complicated respiratory infections, every 24 hours x 3 days
Canines and Felines: 1 ml per 10 kg of weight (canines). 0.5 ml for every 5 kg of weight (cats). Chronic diseases treatment x 10 days.

WITHDRAWAL TIME: Treated animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 7 days after the end of treatment.
The milk produced during the treatment and 72 hours after the end of the treatment should not be given to human consumption.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Veterinary Use. Do not use the product in animals that are in the growth phase or that present failures in the Central Nervous System.
The innocuousness of the product has only been demonstrated in pregnant bitches, it is unknown even in pregnant cats.

Exclude horses from treatment with Baytril 5% Injection.
