IVOMEC-F

FORMULA

Each ml contains:

Ivermectin: 10 mg, Clorsulon: 100 mg, Vehicle: 1 ml.

INDICATIONS

For the treatment and control of internal parasites including adult liver fluke and external parasites of bovines and dairy cows in the dry period.

IVOMEC-F controls adult and immature stages of gastrointestinal nematodes, including inhibited stages of Ostertagia ostertagi. IVOMEC-F controls adult and immature stages of lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus). IVOMEC-F injection administered at the recommended dose of 1 mL per 50 kg body weight has a long-acting efficacy against gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasites. IVOMEC-F controls adult liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica). IVOMEC-F controls adult eye nematodes (Thelazia spp). IVOMEC-F controls parasitic fly larvae on the skin (Hypoderma bovis and H. lineatum). IVOMEC-F controls scabies mites (Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis, Psoroptes bovis). IVOMEC-F controls sucking lice (Linognathus vitulis, Haematopinus eurysternus and Solenopotes capillatus). IVOMEC-F can also be used as an aid in the control of chewing lice (Damalinia bovis) and the scabies mite (Chorioptes bovis).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

IVOMEC-F should only be administered by subcutaneous injection under the recommended dose level of 1 mL per 50 kg body weight.

When the product temperature is below 5°C, its application can be difficult because its viscosity increases. Heating the product and the injection equipment around 15°C can help in its application.

NOTE TO THE USER

Transient discomfort has been observed in some animals after injection and swelling at the application site. These reactions have disappeared without treatment. If the dose volume is greater than 10 mL, apply to two different sites to reduce transient discomfort and application site reaction. Different sites should be used to parenterally apply other products.

IMPORTANT

Read the instructions before using the product.

WARNINGS

Animals intended for human consumption should not be slaughtered before 28 days after applying the product. In dairy cattle, do not use during the lactation period or within 28 days prior to calving. This product should not be used intravenously or intramuscularly. Protect this product from light. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children and pets. Do not smoke or eat while applying the product. Wash your hands after using it. Containers and any residual content should be sent to a safe place, eg incineration.
