Advac Avian Pox is a lyophilized active virus vaccine for poultry immunization.

FORMULA: Each mL contains: Avian Pox homologous virus, obtained in chicken embryo SPF: 1 x 10 5 DIEP 50. Enclosed diluent: sterile injectable water.

INDICATIONS: It is indicated for the prevention and control of Avian Pox in domestic poultry ( Gallus gallus domesticus ), engaged in egg, meat, breeding and fighting production; as well as in the domestic turkey ( Meleagris gallopavo mexicana ), engaged in meat and egg production.

DOSE: 10 μl (double needle applicator).

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Intradermal. Domestic fowl: Puncture in the internal side, in the fold of the wing. Domestic turkey: Puncture in the fold of the inner thigh. Mode of preparation: Add the enclosed diluent of sterile injectable water to the vial with the lyophilized tablet and mix thoroughly.

WARNINGS: Apply only in healthy birds. Do not vaccinate birds in laying period. Caution: Avoid human contact with the live vaccine. Once reconstituted, do not use the vaccine after ½ hour.

STORAGE: Keep out of reach of children and domestic animals. Store refrigerated between 2 and 8 °C. Avoid freezing and exposure to direct sunlight. Dispose of vial and leftovers by incineration. Product for exclusive use in Veterinary Medicine.

PRESENTATIONS: 50 doses (1 mL), 100 doses (2 mL) and 1,000 doses (20 mL) plus diuretic.
