Composition:
Neomycin: aminogucoside antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis by binding and blocking the 30 s subunit of the bacterial ribosome.

Zinc oxide: astringent that relieves local irritations and inflammations by reducing the flow of mucosa and other secretions.

Drying and healing. Zinc: it is a powerful natural antioxidant and is part of the antioxidant enzyme superoxidodismutase, it increases the absorption of vitamin A. It is involved in the synthesis of collagen for the keratinization of the epidermis. Zinc Oxide acts as an astringent-drying agent. Promotes the relief of local irritations and inflammations by reducing the flow of mucus and other secretions.

Zinc Bacitracin: Polypeptide antibiotic. Treatment of bacterial skin infections and prevention of infection from superficial and deep burns, cuts or scrapes. Interferes with the dephosphorylation of C55-isoprenyl phosphate, a molecule that transports the structural elements of the glycan peptide in the bacterial cell membrane

Indications:
Treatment of external post-trauma or post-operative infections; eczemas and pyodermas produced by Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp., Corynebacterium sp. and Proteus sp.

APPLICATIONS:
Treatment of all types of wounds (due to trauma, infection or surgery), burns, abrasions, eczema and pyodermas (dermatitis with pus).

VERDEMINT is used daily to disinfect navels in newborns, udder wounds and teat cracks, difficult-to-heal wounds (ulcers) and lacerations caused by saddles and harnesses in horses.

VERDEMINT can be used to control myiasis or worms mixed with insecticidal products for topical use that contain coumaphos, metrifonate or dichlorvos.

Dose and route of Administration:
Apply 2 to 5 times a day in sufficient quantity to cover the wound, until closure and complete healing. The frequency and duration of treatment are at the discretion of the Veterinarian.

In case of dirty or contaminated wounds, before the first application, wash with soap or antiseptic solutions, dry and apply evenly for as long as necessary until the tissue fully recovers.

Contraindications and Precautions:
Store at a temperature below 30°C. Sale by prescription of the Veterinary Doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
